Erik is survived by two daughters, Jade McNeese of Woodstock, and Dani McNeese of Calhoun; a sister and brother-in-law, Sabrina and Peter Tongren of Atlanta; his father Kem McNeese and his wife Jan of Calhoun; mother, Cindy Whitener and her husband Randy of Calhoun; step-sisters, Amy and Allison Nesbitt of Calhoun; grandparents, Odie and the late Johnnie McNeese, and Paul and Allawane Gentry, all of Calhoun; and his best friend who was like a brother, Ricky Parker of Calhoun.
A memorial service for Erik David McNeese was held Monday, November 12 at 6 p.m. from the Heritage Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Dr. Brent Davis officiating. Music was arranged by Carmen Green. Honorary pallbearers were Paul Gentry, Mitchell Gentry, Stan McNeese, Tyler McNeese, Mike Jones, Ricky Parker, and Jason Davis.
The McNeese family received friends at Heritage Baptist Church Monday from 4-6 p.m.
