Mrs. Stewart was a homemaker during her lifetime, and was a member of South Calhoun Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Pete and Mary Stewart of Calhoun, and Douglas and Honour Stewart of Arden, N.C.; two brothers, Ronnie Krete and Alex Krete; a sister, Shirley Clements; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Stewart of Jonesboro, Ga. Grandchildren surviving are Karissa Stewart, Brent and Kate Stewart, Matthew Stewart, Andrew Stewart, Valerie and Stephen Holtz, Melanie and Clayton Henderson, Natalie Stewart, and Stephanie Stewart. Six great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Ann Stewart will be held Monday, December 31 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Family members served as pallbearers. Interment followed in Fain Cemetery.
The Stewart family received friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday from 12 noon until the service hour of 2 p.m.
