Mr. Barry Lawrence Davis, 61 of Calhoun and formerly of Jasper, (Pickens County), passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Floyd Medical Center. He was a member of the Baptist Faith and a Veteran of the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by a dear friend, Sandra Alberta Curtis Buck.

Survivors are his son, Durane Davis of Huntsville, Ala.; stepchildren, daughter, Emily Darlene Buck of Jacksonville, N.C.; two sons, Larry Buck, Jr. of Calhoun, Darryl (Chastity) Buck of Resaca; four grandchildren, close family friends, Virginia Aspon, Malikay Street, Rickey Bryant, Diane Mann, Joan Carter and family; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friend.

Funeral Service were held Thursday evening, February 28, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist church, 452 West Line Street, Calhoun, Georgia with Rev. Leo Hampton and other ministers officiating. The family received friends Thursday from 6:30 p. m. until the funeral hour. Interment will be at the Georgia National Cemetery on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 12:30 p.m.
