The Calhoun Fire Department was called to a residential fire around 8:15 a.m. on Monday, February 4.

Within an hour of being on scene the Fire Department had the fire contained, but Firefighters are still on the scene at this time, according to Calhoun Fire Department Chief Deputy Terry Mills.

West May St. is blocked off until further notice, according to Mills.

There are no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is still unknown at this time.
