The United Way of Gordon County Board of Directors primary functions are to raise funds for the 18 United Way agencies working in Gordon County, allocate the funds collected, and to bring awareness to the community of the resources these agencies provide.”
Vickie Spence, Executive Director explains, “The board is consists of 23 community volunteers who provide outstanding service to Gordon County. Each year the board leads the United Way Fund Campaign. This year the goal for the 2013 Campaign is $550,000.00. This is an increase of $50,000.00 over the last two years. Gordon County residents have been generous and this goal is certainly one this community can achieve.”
