He identified the victim as Matthew Timm, who died of a single gunshot wound to the head.
Kaleb Harp, 20, Timm’s roommate, was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter, pointing a gun at another, and reckless conduct, Jones said.
The incident occurred at 9:30 p.m. Friday at 128 N. Franklin St., where the two resided, Jones said Harp called 911, Jones said.
Jones indicated he was talking to the district attorney’s office and more charges are pending.
