• The Kiwanis thrift store in Fairmount is open Saturday, Sept. 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The store is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It is located at 2573 Highway 411 S.E. in Fairmount. For more information, call 706-337-3663.

• The Dalton-Whitfield library will be closed Saturday, Sept. 3, in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. The library will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m.
