Kroger stores throughout the Atlanta division are encouraging customers and associates to donate to the American Red Cross, which is providing first aid assistance, meals, emotional support and other necessities to those affected by the deadly aftermath of the Oklahoma tornadoes that touched down on Monday, May 20. Beginning Tuesday, May 21 and ending Sunday, May 26 customers can “round-up” their purchases to the nearest dollar at all Atlanta division stores – which includes Georgia, South Carolina, Northern Alabama and Eastern Tennessee. Customers can also make donations to the American Red Cross at Kroger cash registers. “We ask our customers to come together and help our neighbors and friends in Oklahoma as they look to rebuild their lives,” says Glynn Jenkins, director of communications and public relations for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “Through their donations, we can help make a difference for so many of those affected by this tragedy.” Please visit www.kroger.com to find the location nearest you.
