Darren Harris
According to Calhoun Police Chief Garry Moss:
Calhoun police charged Darren Harris, 24, of 201 Buck Blvd., Calhoun, in connection with a theft and check cashing scheme.
Calhoun Police were notified by the victim of the theft on Oct. 10, 2010 and launched an investigation into the matter. It was discovered Harris has passed several of the stolen checks in Summerville and Chatsworth.
Harris was taken into custody on Thursday and remains in custody with further charges pending.
In addition to the charges in Calhoun, warrants have been issued for Harris in several other counties in relation to this theft.
