More than 35 FFA members, Alumni, and parents gathered together to create the Sonoraville Middle School Country Christmas float, which won first place in the noncommercial division, in the Fairmount Christmas Parade, Dec. 13.

The SMS FFA Float was only complete by having members on board dressed in Camouflage, Christmas lights, and of course student animal projects including: chickens, pigs, and a goat named “Clover.”

FFA Alumni also created a float with the theme “Hog Wild Christmas,” for the parade. Alumni and parents assisted with creating the float, which landed the group first place in the commercial division, winning a large trophy.

All FFA families helped with building the float while listening to music, eating snacks, and socializing while wishing everyone a merry Christmas. Sonoarville agriculture was represented by current and former chapters, both taking first place.
