Sheriff to set up New Years Eve check points

The department will deploy extra deputy sheriffs for this duty.
The checkpoints will be initiated in the evening and "continue as long as necessary," according to the department's Web site.
Sheriff Ralston urges everyone to celebrate to ring in 2010 responsibly.
