Annual vaccinations are one of the best things you can do to protect your horse. It’s all about disease prevention and the local saddle club wants to help the community keep their horses healthy and free from sickness and diseases by hosting annual horse care clinics which are open to the public for anyone to bring their horses through.
The format requires owners to trailer their horses to the livestock pavilion where on-site care services will be administered by Veterinarian Tom Wilson. Options offered at the clinic will be a Coggins test as well as vaccine shots for Rabies, Strangles, and a West Nile-5 Way combination package. Digital Coggins fee is $30 with vaccination fees ranging from $17 - $60.
The NWGA Livestock Pavilion is located one mile south of downtown Calhoun, across from the Northwest Georgia Technical College. For more information call 770-548-5956 or e-mail www.gordoncosaddleclub@yahoo.com.
