SHS students recently completed a Journey through Justice with the Atlanta Bar Association.
Students reviewed lessons on both civil and criminal law.
The students then had a mock trial in a criminal lawsuit case where members of the group were able to role-play and see how a real court case is handled.
After the mock trial, students were given the opportunity to watch famous court case in motion picture format and look at a history of famous Georgia court cases.
Students were awarded an “Attorney for the Day” Certificate from the Georgia Bar Association.
