Brittany Harris from Sonoraville High School in Calhoun, Georgia qualified to attend the national conference by earning her Future, Business, Leader and America Business Achievement Awards.

“Brittany set the goal of attending the national competition at the beginning of Fall semester. She was determined to reach her goal and I am so proud of her for setting a higher standard for Sonoraville High School FBLA,” said Lisa Smith, SHS FBLA Adviser. Normally, a student earns one level per year and it takes all four years to earn. Brittany is only the second student in my twenty-two years of teaching to achieve this award and she worked over seven hundred hours this past school year to earn this recognition. Brittany plans to attend Dalton State College in the Fall.

The Sonoraville FBLA Chapter also was recognized for receiving the Hollis and Kitty Gold Seal Chapter Award and a Gold Key Chapter Award which is only awarded nationally to the top chapters in each state.
