Section Leaders of the Sonoraville High School Marching Phoenix Band recently attended a leadership camp at Camp Lookout in Rising Fawn.

During the camp, the students learned valuable leadership skills that will help them lead their sections through marching season.

The SHS Band Booster Club is seeking corporate sponsors to help with the cost of the growing band. Currently, there are not enough uniforms for every student that wishes to participate in the program.

Anyone wishing to help financially is asked to call 796-879-5134. Also, the Band is looking for someone to donate an enclosed trailer to allow the band to carry musical equipment to away games and competitions. Anyone wishing to donate a trailer is asked to call 706-879-5134.
