A Rome woman was arrested Tuesday morning for misdemeanor false reporting of a crime for telling police a man forced her to have sex against her will and then admitting she made it up, according to reports.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Valerie Marie Colon, 18, 6A Wood Creek Way, said she filed the report earlier this month because she was mad at him for “leaving her stranded after the act.”

She was released from jail on Tuesday afternoon.
