The Calhoun High School boys soccer team recently returned from the Columbus State University Elite Soccer Team Camp. While at camp the players were instructed on advanced technical and tactical aspects of the game. Each evening the boys were able to apply what they learned in full-sided games against other high school teams including Columbus, Hebron Christian, Pacelli, Kendrick, Troup County and Smiths Mill, Alabama.

Team members who attended camp pictured to the left are: Brayan Forcado (front row, from left), Erwin Flores, Sergio Alverez, Lester Garcia, Ludwin Fajardo, Alex Hernandez (back row, from left), Noe Martinez, Brandon Blaylock, Raul Moreno, James Doane, Spencer Budzius and Jonah Gallman. The Jackets just completed a season this past spring in which they advanced to the Class AA Elite Eight.
