Calhoun quarterback Taylor Lamb made a decision on where he would play his college football on Wednesday as he committed to South Alabama.
Lamb, who will begin his senior season in August, also had received offers from Chattanooga, Georgia State, Liberty and Memphis, before deciding to pick the Jaguars.
Lamb and the Jackets will open up their Class AA State Championship defense on August 31 when they host Ridgeland at Phil Reeve Stadium.
