Plainville burglary suspects apprehended at Moore's Ferry

Johnny Gravitt and Terry M. Bishop, both of different Moore’s Ferry Rd. addresses were arrested and charged with burglary in the first degree Jan. 15.

According to a press release from the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a residential burglary at approximately 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15 on Rome Rd. near Plainville.

Though the suspects had fled the scene upon the deputies arrival, witnesses were able to provide law enforcement with a description of the pick-up truck driven by the suspects

Minutes later other deputies located the vehicle at a residence on Moore’s Ferry Rd., along with stolen property nearby which was reported stolen from the residence.

Both Gravitt and Bishop were arrested and the stolen property was returned to the owner.
