Piedmont graduates 19 Gordon County students

Piedmont College, in Demorest, had 19 Gordon County natives to cross the stage this year

Nineteen Gordon County residents received graduate degrees during the recent May commencement ceremony at, Piedmont College in Demorest.

The local graduates were among 470 students receiving degrees from Piedmont College.

Here are the local graduates who received degrees:

  • Staci Reece Banks, of Plainville, earned an Education Specialist degree

  • Corey Lynn Baxter, of Calhoun, earned an Education Specialist degree

  • Donald O. Casey, of Calhoun, earned an Education Specialist degree

  • Melissa Ann Fullbright, of Ranger, earned an Education Specialist degree

  • Stacy Rhiannon Grantham, of Ranger, earned a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education

  • Kristin Elaine Gray, of Calhoun, earned an Education Specialist degree

  • Paula Gay Gunter, of Calhoun, earned an Education Specialist degree

  • Patricia Daniel Harris, of Calhoun, earned an Education Specialist degree

    Piedmont College is an independent liberal arts college of about 2,800 students with campuses located in Demorest and Athens, Ga. Founded in 1897, the college offers undergraduate degrees in 32 major areas and graduate degrees in education and business, including doctoral degrees in education.
