Jimmy Watkins of Calhoun stands next to a pear tree with one limb containing a cluster of 13 pears on his Azalea Dr. lawn.

Both Jimmy and his wife Esdell use the pears for relish and say the growth was very odd.

The tree has only been in the Watkins’ front yard for several years, and has never produced pears like this before.

The cluster of pears is so heavy the limb is feared to break due to the weight.
