@ Calhoun Times its funny how you haven't published the new feeder system that Gordon County School Board has announced online yet! It ran in a small section of your paper on Saturday but nothing online as of yet! We have got to stand together as a community and go to the next school board meeting. We also need to get a petition started and even call in the Channel 2 news.. Leave Phoenix nation alone!

As part of Educator Appreciation Week, the staff members of Calhoun Primary and Calhoun Elementary received a cooked to order breakfast, courtesy of Huddle House. “Gregg Hansen and his staff did a fabulous job treating all of the educators to a perfect start to the day, and they helped remind the faculty and staff how much they are appreciated for the outstanding job they do each day with the boys and girls,” said Calhoun City Schools Spokesman Peter Coombe. “We are grateful for all of our wonderful staff members, as well as our valued Partners In Education (PIE) members.”
