    Sonoraville senior Josh Nicholson (seated, second from right) signed a track and field and cross country scholarship on Friday with Brewton-Parker (Mount Vernon, Ga.). Nicholson said of the signing: "It means a lot to me. Running is my favorite thing to do, and I think this will be a good experience. The coach called and asked me if I wanted to run there and told me about everything, and I really though it was a good opportunity." Also attending the signing were: Sonoraville assistant track coach Sara Little (front row, from left), father Jeff Nicholson, Sonoraville head track coach Greg McDaris, Sonoraville athletic director Brent Mashburn (back row, from left) and Sonoraville assistant principal Mark Waters.
