Harris Arts Center is hosting a truly unique exhibit from Wednesday, May 30, to Friday, July 6, where artworks by Dr. Donna Livingston, Marilyn Austin, Tara Lewis and Kim Parker will be featured. These women live in the Columbus/West Central Georgia area, and are current or retired art educators. Their passion for art is evident in their collection of serious, whimsical and unique works of art created in a wide variety of materials from drawings to mixed media sculptures.

Besides being artists and art educators, these women have a common bond: Dr. Donna Livingston is a retired Columbus State University Art Education Professor. Kim, Tara and Marilyn were Master’s Program students of hers, and all remain close friends to this day.

There will be a reception on Sunday, June 3 from 2 p.m. until 4p.m. The public is invited to attend.
