Mr. and Mrs. David Hammond of Calhoun are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Hillary Taylor Hammond to Jonathan Lawrence Whitham, son of Larry and Donna Whitham, of Indianapolis. He proposed on April 17 in front of Cinderella’s castle at Walt Disney World. A fall wedding is planned at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel on Jekyll Island.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Calhoun High School. She is currently employed with Resurgen’s Orthopaedics of Atlanta, specializing in Radiology/MRI. The future bride is the sister of Hunter Hammond. She is the granddaughter of Tony and Margaret Olshefski and Tom and Susan Smith and the late Reverend Hollis and Imogene Hammond.
The future groom is a 2002 graduate of North Central High School of Indianapolis. He is currently practicing law with Whitham, Hebenstreit, and Zubek of Indianapolis. He is the brother of Jeremy and Josh Whitham. He is the grandson of the late Homer and Zella Miller and the late Verle and Jane Whitham. Formal invitation will be sent.
