Ms. Shelley Leigh Edwards to wed Darren Michael Serati

Shelley Leigh Edwards, of Calhoun, and Darren Michael Serati, of Kennesaw announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Wes and Paula Edwards, of Calhoun and the sister of Jonathan and Taylor Edwards of Calhoun. Her grandparents are Paul and Freddie Mae Jones and the late Hoyt and Betty Edwards, all of Calhoun.

She is a 2006 graduate of Calhoun High School and is a student at Dalton State College, where she will graduate in December with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

The groom-elect is the son of Ron and Betty Serati, of Kennesaw and the brother of Brad Serati, of Alpharetta. His grandparents are the late Angelo and Grace Serati and the late Ignatz and Katherine Rabe, all of St. Louis, Missouri.

He is a graduate of John F. Kennedy Catholic High School in St. Louis and he graduated with a Bachelor degree in Global Business from the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana. He is currently employed as a store manager for Rite Aid in Kennesaw.

The wedding will be Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 3 p.m. at St. Clements Catholic Church. Formal invitations have been sent.
