The bride is the daughter of Monty and Diana Slaughter of Calhoun and the groom is the son of Randall and Sheila Jones of Calhoun.
Daniel Hannoush played the piano and the church was decorated with ivy, ferns, a unity candle and various colored flowers.
The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a white satin A-line dress with a pleated bodice and beaded lace appliqué accents. She carried a bouquet of white tiger lilies with wine calla lilies.
The bride’s attendants were maid of honor Amelia Slaughter, sister of the bride, of Calhoun; Sarah Jones, sister of the groom, Calhoun; Juliann Young, of Chattanooga; Susan Prater, of Atlanta; Lindsey Graham, of Savannah. They wore crimson dresses with ruched top and knee-length skirts. They carried bouquets of yellow, orange, pink, white, and red tiger lilies.
The groom’s attendants were Laramie Rodriguez, best man, of Calhoun; Justin Lindsey, of Calhoun; Tim Samford, of Marietta; Austin Burnsmith, of Canton; and Rocky Wallingford, Calhoun.
A reception was held at the Calhoun Convention Center that included lunch. Decorations included red candlesticks, tea light candles with red accent, single red tulip in cylindrical vase on reserved tables. After a wedding trip to Honolulu and Maui, Hawaii. They plan to reside in Marietta.
