Whitney Blaine Hollis and Richard Aaron Paradis were united in marriage with a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Morris Center/trustees Garden in Savannah on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 at 5:30 p.m.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hollis of Calhoun.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Paradis of Pooler.

The double ring ceremony was performed outside overlooking historic Savannah by Dr. Bert Vaughn.

The bride wore and off white taffeta wedding dress with a birdcage veil. The groom wore a traditional black tuxedo. A number of family and close friends were in attendance for the peacock themed outdoor wedding.

A reception of dining and dancing was held immediately after the ceremony inside the historic Morris Center.

The evening before the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Moon River Brewery on River Street in Savannah. Other pre-nuptial parties were given in honor of the couple by friends and family.

After a honeymoon in Charleston, S.C., the couple will reside in Savannah.
