Morning Pointe Assisted Living and Independent Healthcare Properties are pleased to introduce the inaugural issue of its new magazine, Morning Pointe Milestones. The special biannual publication will feature unique stories on Morning Pointe residents, associated and volunteers.

“Milestones is about celebrating the lives and contributions of individuals, who are part of the Morning Pointe and Lantern communities,” said Greg A. Vital, president and CEO of IHP and Morning Pointe.

The premier issue features numerous special stories, among which include a resident’s remembrance of flying with Charles Lindbergh during World War II and a blind pianist who has volunteered at Morning Pointe for more than a decade.

Independent Healthcare Properties, LLC, a Chattanooga, Tenn., based senior healthcare services company, develops and manages Morning Pointe Assisted Living and The Lantern Alzheimer’s and Memory Care Center of Excellence communities. The company currently has 20 communities (two under construction) in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and Indiana. IHP was founded in 1996 by regional healthcare entrepreneurs Greg A. Vital and Franklin Farrow.

Amy Clarke, corporate communications director for IHP, is editor of the magazine.
