Morning Pointe of Calhoun Residents recently helped fill the South Calhoun Baptist Church Food Bank through their community-wide food drive. Residents delivered all of the collected food to Pastor Gary Bowman. The church’s food bank is open to families once a week. Residents at Morning Pointe of Calhoun are making a difference on many fronts this holiday season.

In addition to Operation Christmas Child, seniors of the assisted living community are participating in Marley’s Socks for Kids campaign. Morning Pointe is once again a drop off and collection location for Marley Gentry’s 4th annual sock drive.

The residents are also teaming up with Northwest Georgia Amedysis Home Health for the community’s annual Toys for Tots drive. This event will start on December 1st and run through the 18th. Drop by your toy for a family in need any time during business hours at Morning Pointe of Calhoun, 660 Jolly Road. (706) 629-0777.
