A former Fields Ferry gold course pro who was reported missing earlier this month has been found.

Robby Cole, 46, was reported missing Friday, March 4, from his home in Gilmer County.

Det. Ryan Hilton of the Gilmer County Sheriff's Department confirmed that Cole was found and transported to Grady Hospital where "somebody recognized him as a missing person."

Posts on a Facebook page set up in an effort to locate him indicate Cole is still at the Atlanta hospital.

Acquintences confirmed on Facebook that Cole has been located, but asked for privacy at this time.

According to a Facebook post by Sarah Austin Cole yesterday: “Robby has been found, he is at Grady Hospital, I know very little details so far, he is physically fine he is mentally very bad off. PLEASE do not ask questions on this site, PLEASE do not call us with questions. I promise we will let everyone know when we have more information. We are currently working on our next step, we will keep you informed … “

That is great news. I hope everything works out for Robby and his family because he is well liked in this community.
