I agree. The problem is you have too many that set up the district calling the shots, and a BOE that only knows how to spend money. If they did not need a middle school, why build it? Why not just expand the high school if they were not going to use GC to its capacity? This is a "boondoggle" in its truest form.Why did they not tell us this when asking for the ESPLOST?

Still trying to figure out how this restructuring will save money. Is the intent to be able to staff a new middle school and if the long range goal of building a new high school is the plan, why change the mascot to Phoenix? Looks like redistricting to handle overcrowding by sending students back to Gordon Central would be a better alternative. County schools are at the maximum taxation. How will they staff new lunchrooms, administration, custodians and other needed staff?

I hate to bring this up, totally off the subject, but if the county doesn't cut the grass on the sides of Red Bud Road someone's going to get killed!!!! Please!!!!!
