Local rec. football team competes in state tourney

The 11-12 year old Calhoun Jackets Recreation All-Star football team will play in the GRPA State Championship on Dec. 12. They will first play Lee County at 3 p.m.

The winner will play in the championship game the following day at 2 p.m. against the winner of the Cartersville-Baldwin County game.

All games will be played at Cass High School.

The Jackets are 6-0 and have already claimed the District and Region Championship.
