The Southern Warrior Championships is a Memorial event to honor Anthony Stewart and to raise money for pancreatic cancer research and patient assistance

The event is hosted by IFBB Fitness Professional, Hollie Stewart, proud daughter of the late Anthony Stewart, who passed away on April 12 from Pancreatic Cancer.

All ticket sales and competitor entry fees are donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network c/o the Anthony Stewart Legacy Fund. Last year’s event raised close to $4,000.

Everyone is invited to attend to support Calhoun’s first show of this type. Categories of competition will include bodybuilding, figure, bikini, and physique.

Along with a talented, hardworking line-up of competitors, there is also entertainment by Expressions Dance Team and fitness routines by Hollie Stewart.

Audience members will receive free goodies and have a chance to win raffle items donated by local businesses. All proceeds from raffles will also benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

“There are bodybuilding shows in Rome, Chattanooga, Atlanta and so on, but this is a show to raise money to fight a deadly cancer and its local, so I hope everyone comes out to support these competitors, this cause, and to honor my dads memory,” said Stewart.

“Anyone fighting cancer or having a loved one in this battle knows, every little bit helps,” she said.
