The Gordon Hospital Foundation’s Run for Your Life 5k event raised approximately $10,000 for the Radiation Therapy Center currently under construction on the hospital campus.

According to Judy Jackson, director of development for the hospital, a total of 328 runners and walkers participated in the event.

“I want to express my sincere appreciation to everyone that helped make our Second Annual 5k run such a success,” Jackson said. “This event, as well as all of our special events this year, benefits our radiation therapy center so that cancer patients in our community can receive their treatment here at home instead of having to travel out of town.”
