Genevieve Rodriguez, of Calhoun, was recognized for being selected for Who’s Who in American Universities and Colleges at the 2012 Honors Ceremony held on Sunday, April 22, at Young Harris College’s Susan B. Harris Chapel.

Students selected for Who’s Who in American Universities and Colleges must meet the following qualifications at the end of the fall semester: Students must have earned a minimum of 90+ hours, have a minimum academic average of 3.5, never have been on conduct probation, and must show evidence of good citizenship, participation and leadership in academic and extracurricular activities and general promise of future usefulness to society.

Rodriguez, a senior music major at Young Harris College, is a graduate of Gordon Central High School. She is the daughter of Elias and Maria Rodriguez of Calhoun.
