WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney raised more than $18 million in the past three months and his campaign has $12.6 million in the bank.

Romney released his fundraising totals Wednesday, and they show him well ahead of his rivals.

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty last week reported raising $4.2 million from April through June.

Businessman Herman Cain raised almost $2.5 million in the first weeks of his presidential bid.

Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman has collected $4.1 million, but as much as half of that could be money he's given the campaign himself.

Joe – I completely understand, but the republic requires your vote to cancel out another’s vote for the current despot. I am an independent and typically do not vote in the primaries. Since Georgia has open primary elections, I will be voting this time.

I would vomit all the way to the booth if I knew that I standing in line to vote for this guy. Can't do it. Won't do it.

You may be right, but I would have to hold my nose to do it. I see it like this: if the republicans run a “moderate,” the boy-king will defeat them miserably!

We've got to get smart and get behind this guy, he is our best option. Georgia should have voted for him in 2008!
