Andrew Coker of Calhoun traveled to the Philippines in July for a two week mission trip with the Adairsville church of Christ. The evangelistic mission team worked in conjunction with the Philippine Theological College (PTC) which instructs young men in the Philippines in Bible doctrine and is preparing them to spread the gospel in China. PTC is located near the city of Dagupan. The Adairsville church of Christ is in charge of administering the college. The mission resulted in forty-six baptisms and established a new congregation in the city of Villasis located in Pangasinan. Two others from Adairsville, Jeremy Barton and Danny Vines, also participated in the evangelism effort.
