This Victorian house is full of charm and memories. Our community has special memories of Estelle. She was a lady of southern hospitality. She had a deep love for her family and friends. Most days she could be found in the garden among her flowers and vegetables.
Many folks remember stopping by for a visit and always leaving with a canned jar of fruit. As most people called it a jar of Estelle’s love and labor. People that visit the house today say, “This was my dream house.” Even passing by on Hwy. 136, you get a sense of peace and comfort from this beauty.
A group of gardeners, called the Garden Buddies, has taken an interest in this jewel and would love to see the gardens come back to what they once were. It would be a place filled with lovely heirloom roses, shrubs and flowers.
The ladies decided to hold a garden tea party in memory of the late Estelle Ingle. Tea will be served at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., the cost is $10 dollars per person. Reservations are required. Proceeds from the tea will go toward landscaping the grounds.
So come let us show you a place special to all. What a way to spend a day. We’ll wear hour hats, sit and chat, while sharing a pot of tea in the garden.
