“Speak Into The Atmosphere” Gospel Jazz Concert May 6, from 3-4 p.m. to help raise money to send Sonoraville Middle School 8th grader Jalishia Ashworth to the Julliard Jazz Camp and Workshop in Atlanta this summer. Jalishia has played the saxophone since sixth grade and will be showcasing her musical improvements at the benefit. The benefit will take place at the Bibleway Christian Fellowship Church at 1298 Newtown Loop in Calhoun, Ga. and any donations are appreciated. First Corinth Christian Church will be celebrating their Pastor's and First Lady's 5th year anniversary on May 6. The morning service will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rasha Williams of Powerhouse Ministries in Cartersville. The afternoon service will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the Pastor Randy Livsey of New Shiloh Baptist Church in Kingston. Lunch will be served at the community center on McConnell Rd. after morning service.
The Talley Brothers will be at Maranatha Baptist Church in Calhoun, Ga. on May 6, 2012 at 6pm. The church is located at 535 Hwy 225, Calhoun, GA 30701. The Talley Brothers have been singing for over 10 years and you will be blessed by their mix of traditional hymns and acappella style. Mark Talley, choir director, invites everyone to attend.
