Twenty four talented contestants were chosen from a field of over 40 to compete in Calhoun’s Got Talent sponsored by the Harris Arts Center. The 2012 finalists are: Darlene Arnold, Aric and Michael Bunch, Angela Childers, Ricky Clay, Scott Cooper, Parker Davis, Sonia Green, Daniel Hopkins, Stephanie House, Tommy Jones, Clay Lance, Arielle Lawrence, Ianna LeDay, Chloe Litton, Steven Mashburn, Heather Mayfield, Tiffany Mize, Gregory Moyer, Walter Robinson, A. J. Stephens, Jo Ann Thompson, Heather Utz and Michael Ray Zapp.

Calhoun’s Got Talent is the Harris Arts Center’s biggest fundraiser of the year and its most popular event, playing to sold out audiences for the past two years. In order to accommodate ever-growing audiences, Calhoun’s Got Talent 2012 will be held at the beautiful GEM Theatre, 114 North Wall Street. All tickets are $15 and may be purchased by visiting the Harris Arts Center, 212 South Wall Street or calling 706 629-2599.

Performance dates are July 21, July 28 and August 4 at 7 PM. Audience votes decide which contestants progress to the second and third show, and which three talented finalists will win the $1000 First Prize, $500 Second Prize and $250 Third Prize.
