The Calhoun native hit .571 (8-for-14) with four home runs and eight RBI during the Indians’ four-game week.
Poole homered in all four games, including a three-game set against Northwest Florida State, and the opener of a three-game series with Tallahassee.
He was 2-for-3 in games one and two against Northwest on March 19 and 21, and he enjoyed a three-hit afternoon against Tallahassee on March 24 before going 1-for-4 against Northwest on March 25.
For the week, Poole scored six runs and had a 1.14 slugging percentage.
For the season, the sophomore is batting .322 with six home runs, 27 RBI, 19 runs, 37 hits, and a .557 slugging percentage.
Poole ended his career at Calhoun in 2010 by helping lead the Jackets to a Class AA State Championship by defeating Cook County in a three-game series.
He was named All-Area First-Team by the Rome News-Tribune.
Chipola is ranked fourth in the FCSAA State Poll.
