“Recently, Sen. Don Thomas shared with me that he would not be seeking re-election. Don has encouraged me to pursue the Senate seat instead of the House seat for which I was planning to run,” Bethel said. “I am excited about this opportunity for service.”
Bethel is the Director of Human Resources for Dalton based J&J Industries, Inc. He is a former member of the Dalton City Council.
Bethel observed, “This community deserves a State government focused on its needs and concerns. We should expect a State government that knows how to manage its expenses in tough times and in seasons of plenty.”
