Back in the fall Calhoun City Schools helped the Calhoun City Fire Department compete in the annual Can Drive to help the local Voluntary Action Center (VAC) stock their shelves.

In hopes to bring in even more cans from the students, Mr. McArthur and Ms. Holcomb’s class went head to head in a friendly competition to see which class could bring in the most cans. The loosing teacher would have to be pied by all the students from the winning class.

In the end McArthur’s class took the lead beating Holcomb’s class 670 cans to 289 cans.

The class cashed in on their win recently and left Ms. Holcomb with a face full of whip cream.

The students had a blast and it all went toward a very worthy cause.
