“She does a great job and she truly loves and empathizes with her patients,” Hoover says. “She has an exemplary Christian attitude and is always willing to help any way she can.”
Boring attended Dalton State College and resides in Chatsworth with her husband, Marvin Boring. She has two boys, Derek Smith, 15, and Christopher Smith, 18.
“I am very thankful to all my co-workers,” Boring says. “I am very blessed and thank God for such a good place to work.”
In addition to her excellent work ethic, Boring was also nominated for the award based on her efforts at Christmas to feed a holiday meal to the homeless in Dalton.
“Her leadership and caring heart brought a lot of hospital employees together for a good cause that blessed thousands of people in need,” Hoover adds.

Glad she received the award, she is very deserving. She is a special person.
