Sherry Green has come to spend an hour at Berry Child Development Center on the Berry College Campus with her grandson Brody for Grandparents Day today.

“We came because I wanted to celebrate this day with my only grandson,” Green said, who came with her husband, Randy.

The families sang, sprinkled cookies and finger-painted during their hour at Sunshine Cottage. This was the class’ fourth year hosting Grandparents Day. The class teacher, Carol Mull, said the actual holiday is Sunday.

“The grandparents always seem to enjoy it so much,” Mull said.
