For the second time in as many days, the SMS baseball team found themselves on the winning side of a 15-0, three inning, mercy rule game.

The Ashworth Warriors hosted the Phoenix at the Sonoraville Recreation Complex. With the Phoenix leading 1-0 after one inning, Sonoraville put seven runs on the board in the top of the 2nd. They followed that with six more runs in the top of the third.

Cal King and Easton Gallmon were both perfect at the plate. King was 3-for-3 with two RBI's, and Gallmon was 2-for-2 with two RBI's. Other batters contributing with hits were Patrick Thurman, Drew Wilson, Griff Bryant, and Brevin Harris. The Phoenix had several players who scored or had RBI's, including Clark Johnson, Thad Harris and Brandon Dendy.

Drew Wilson picked up the win with a complete game, one hit performance, which included seven strikeouts in three innings.
