The SMS Diamond Phoenix remained undefeated on the season, as they beat host Adairsville in a hard fought 6-1 win on Saturday.

With the Phoenix (6-0) leading 2-1 in the top of the forth, and two runners on with two outs, Griff Bryant stepped into the batters box.

Bryant ripped a pitch to the right center field fence, driving in Thad Harris and Drew Wilson to extend the lead to 4-1. The Phoenix would go on to score two more runs in the inning.

Other players for Sonoraville picking up hits or scoring runs include Pat Thurman, Clark Johnson, Brandon Dendy, Cal King, and Easton Gallmon.

Once again, Sonoraville's pitching was strong. Harris recorded the win, throwing five innings of no hit baseball. Drew Wilson came in to pitch in the bottom of the 6th, securing the no-hitter and picking up a save by retiring all three batters he faced.

Together Harris and Wilson struck out 16 batters.
