The Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will host a Family Caregiver Workshop, Monday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome.

The workshop is free for family caregivers of a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia

Topics for discussion will be: Basics of Alzheimer’s Disease, Caregiving Tips For Daily Living, and How To Partner With Your Doctor. Also, Melissa Boyd, RN, will be the featured speaker for the event.

The workshop area is located in the lower evel, Classrooms A & B of the Redmond Regional Medical Center, at 501 Redmond Road, in Rome. Call (800)-272-3900 to register.
