The Gordon County 4-H Junior and Senior Dairy judging teams both won first place in the Georgia state contest held April 6 at the University of Georgia.

Junior team members were: Kam Childers who was 2nd high individual, Caleb Carr 4th, Brooke Carr 9th and Annelies Carr.

State winning Senior members were: Emily Hostetler, 3rd high individual, Gibson Priest 5th, Anneke Carr 7th, and Marie Swims.

Four senior members earned 4-H Master status and will also represent Georgia at the National contest in Madison Wisconsin at the Word Dairy Expo in October.
